The 6th and final Friday Night on White of the 2016 season takes place Friday, September 9th, starting at 6 pm. Featuring the band Crush, which plays classic and contemporary rock, the event will also feature the following food trucks – Baton Rouge Cuisine, Charlie’s Kabobs on Wheels, Cousins Maine Lobster, Fuzzy’s Empanadas, King’s Authentic Philly Cheesesteaks, Pho Nomenal Dumpling, VFW Chuckwagon, Virgil’s Jamaica, Kona Ice, Lumpy’s, & Sweet Traditions.
Beer and wine tokens are available for purchase at various locations downtown and can be used at through White Street Brewing for use at the White Street Brewing Co. beer truck between B&W Hardware and Pizza Amore, at the intersection of South White Street and East Jones Avenue, or inside White Street Brewing Co., 218 S. White St. Tokens are $4 each, and can also be purchased in advance at White Street Brewing. One token is good for one pint of beer or one glass of wine. Cash and credit accepted.
Local restaurants including Back Alley Coffee Roasters, Backfins Crabhouse, The Burger Shop, Domino’s Pizza, The Forks Cafeteria, Hardee’s, LaForesta Italian Café & Pizzeria, Las Margaritas, The Lemon Tree, Lumpy’s Ice Cream, Olde English Tea Room, Ollies, Over The Falls, Pizza Amore, Shorty’s Famous Hot Dogs, and Wake Forest Coffee Co. will be open for business.
Free parking is available along the streets, chairs and blankets are allowed, but no outside coolers or alcohol is permitted. The event ends at 9:30 pm.
